This segment through Chengmei Riverside Park is approximately 1.5 kilometers long, with a gentle two-lane path offering views of the Neihu district on the opposite bank.
Continuing forward, you'll pass under Chenggong Bridge. After passing the bridge, the road narrows and runs alongside the pumping station, where you'll find the turning point after a bit. This direction runs parallel to Huanhe North Road outside the gate and offers a very flat and straight route. As you run, the vast Danshui riverside stretches out to your left, providing a serene view of the blue water on clear days.
Continuing north, after about 1 kilometer, you'll pass under Taipei Bridge. Then, running along the long riverside embankment for about 1.5 kilometers, you'll reach the "TAIPEI Sign" at Dunhua Evacuation Gate. Keep going to the bottom of National Highway No. 1 Bridge and return to the starting point to complete the 5-kilometer practice.

Running to the left leads to Huazhong Riverside Park and Dadaocheng, while running to the right leads to Guting and Fuhe. Starting the run towards Huazhong Riverside Park, if you want a shorter practice, stay on the right side. For a longer distance, choose the outer left side for running. Running the outer route back and forth covers a 5-kilometer distance.
