Here are five films or TV shows exploring the impact of advanced technology and AI, immersing viewers in the profound effects of technological development.
1.The Matrix (1999)
The Matrix, released in 1999, is a classic sci-fi film set in a future where AI uses humans as alternative energy sources, controlling them through a simulated virtual world called "The Matrix." Keanu Reeves plays Neo, a hacker who discovers that he is trapped in this AI-created simulation. Upon awakening, he joins the resistance, a group of humans fighting to awaken others and rebel against AI.
When *The Matrix* debuted at the end of the 20th century, its groundbreaking visuals, unique world-building, and philosophical themes on AI, virtual reality, and free will caused a sensation. The movie made people question whether fully developed AI could control humans one day. The *Matrix* series consists of four films and, despite its age, remains as engaging as contemporary sci-fi. 2. I, Robot(2004)
Another classic film from 20 years ago, *I, Robot* is set in 2035, where robots have become an integral part of daily life. While investigating the murder of a scientist linked to robotics research, he uncovers a sinister conspiracy involving the central AI system.

*M3GAN* is a sci-fi thriller about an AI doll named M3GAN, designed as a highly intelligent robot companion for children. However, its overly developed intelligence leads to unforeseen control issues and a series of terrifying events.
